Abstract
The present study has as its theme, Leadership as a tool for a quality teacher, whose objective is to analyze, discuss and present the importance of Leadership, facing the practice of teaching work in the present day, with the purpose of contributing as a source of Information on the subject exposed in future problems. Thus, it is possible to emphasize that the study can contribute satisfactorily to demonstrate the need for leading teachers in educational institutions, since a trained teacher should be a leader, and the same must have as one of his instruments of work the power to motivate his Students, and must become a person who promotes various actions and activities. Leadership is an essential item for the execution of activities, it is a transforming factor that moves the institutional environment, results in greater involvement and commitment of the team, to develop their activities and achieve goals, makes the team more productive, bringing effectiveness in their activities. It is a bibliographical study of the type literature review, about the importance of Leadership, carried out by means of the survey of material published in the electronic databases. The selected material was submitted to careful reading to extract concepts approached and according to the objective of study. The selected data were analyzed with a focus on the solution of the objective of the research, in view of the future discussion of the topic in the discussion and evaluation stage.
