Abstract
In order to analyze the introduction of playful activities in mathematics teaching, a bibliographic analysis was performed to know the feasibility of introducing that process as a teaching proposal. The challenge of teaching mathematics is not easy, as soon as some students are not interested in the discipline. It has been known that activities with games are fundamental resources to understand and use rules that will be utilized in the teaching-learning process, in mathematics, in the appropriation of different contents, overcoming the use of tiring lists of exercise of fixation, whose purpose is the memorization of data formulas. The results indicated that the use of playful activities in mathematics teaching, when properly planned and oriented, becomes a pleasant, challenging and more attractive alternative to the teachinglearning process of mathematics. Moreover, it contributes to a more dynamic and participating classroom, being necessary, however, adequate planning for the dissemination of the methodology of games for the construction of the mathematical knowledge in the different school levels.
